708 same as 704???

I would love to know the answer here as well - I have recently purchased InstantCake for the Phillips DSR708 and the ISO I received was for the 704. I installed the ISO + PTVNet and all seems to be working just fine... although in the System Info - it is displaying the unit now as a 704.

Sorry - I missed this question first time around. DSR704 and DSR708 are exactly the same (except the software from the DSR708 will only fit on an 80GB drive or larger, vs the 704 software which will fit on a 40GB drive or larger.

So, "yes" they are interchangable.

I have scoured all over the boards trying to find out if existing customers get free upgrades to the 6.2 ptvnet ISO? I bought both InstantCake and PTVnet ISO's but noticing the 6.2 OS is available. I saw the Dellanave process which appears to be quite complex... hoping previous loyal customers can DL the 6.2 ISO? :D
