I have the PTVupgrade Boot CD (Universal Upgrade CD version 10).
My goal is to add a second hard drive to my series 1 Tivo (Sony SVR2000), but first I would like to backup the original A drive as recommended. However, when I use the mfsbackup command I get the error - command not found.

I am entering:
mfsbackup -6so /mnt/dos/tivo.bak /dev/hdc

Please help!

There is no command "mfsbackup" -- its either "mfstool backup" or "backup"

Thank you for the clarification.

I was following the Hinsdale guide.
The Hinsdale guide shows the following command line to peform the backup.
# mfsbackup -6so /mnt/dos/tivo.bak /dev/hdc

I guess the Hinsdale guide is not exactly correct when using the PTVupgrade CD.

What options do you recommend? Is option -6so good?
I am trying to add a 120GB drive to an existing series 1 (Sony SVR2000) with an existing 80GB drive.

The commands are the same, regardless of the CD (mfstool is the same regardless of the CD that its on).
