So, i MONTE'ed my tivo and about 9 months later it decided to be freezy and all kinds of sucking.... so, i restored from an update and I had to use a killed kernel. I want to know, if the InstantCake software will allow my tivo, after restoring my TCD2400240, which can't download any of the software updates, to be able to download software updates. Also, I just want to stick with the 40gb drive I have in it right now....

I just want the thing to download software updates......
