Hi,

I recently bought an upgraded series 1(running v 3.1.0c2-01-1-031) from a friend who upgraded to a series 2. I've got it up and running fabulously, running daily updates through an Apple Airport Express via the Tivo's internal 10/100 card.

Now, I'm itching to get goodies like TivoWeb up as well. But I'm not able to get started as the system isn't allowing telnet connections. So I'm sort of at square one it would seem.

Anyone have pointers on good tech resources that have helped them, beyond Steve Jenkins' hack pages? In particular, if anyone knows how to determine which network card is in the system, either through the Tivo interface or from physical markings on the board, that would help get me on the way. I'm fairly sure mine's got a TurboNet, but I can't tell for sure.

I'm hoping I won't have to hook my Tivo's drives up to a PC to get telnet back up, so pointers to any trustworthy resources on that topic would help as well.
