Hello All,
A Newbie here with Questions. I have burned the image to disk for a Sony S1 SVR-2000. The orginal drive was damaged as the unit never boots properly so I am trying to wipe an WD 40Gb hard drive previously used on Windows Me. I know that the M$ os causes problems for this app soo....

How do I wipe a hard drive for use in IC?

Thanks!

Shouldn't make a difference at all. Have you tried using InstantCake on the drive? If so, what happened? Also, ensure that the drive itself isn't defective (use manufacturer's diagnostics on it).

Yes , I tried the IC app. and had to use the roundabout method to go through.Used PVTlba48 and copykern commad. Now the drive just spins
blinks a coulpe of times, my turbonet car doesn't even blink once.I think the Ultra IDE controller card I left plugged in messed things up.
