Lou,

Strange thing I encountered. I was trying to download the 4th game of the World Series. I had no problem making a ty file downloading from my TiVo, made key files, and edited key files.

The file was going to be to big for one DVD, so I saved a copy of my cut list for the complete file. Then I opened the cut list again in the GOP editor and cut out the second half of the file.

I made the VOB, IFO, and burned a copy of the first half of the game onto a DVD. Perfect.

My problem started when I tried to go back into the GOP editor to change the cut list (to omit the first half of the game this time), so I could repeat the VOB and IFO steps.

When I would click "edit key files" again on the File drop down menu, the GOP editor window will not open. I see the GOP Editor lable on the taskbar of my desktop, but the window is no where to be found. If I click the task bar "button", maximize / restore is greyed out, as if the PC thinks the window is open but I can't see it.

I've done this process before with downloading other Baseball games without a problem. The only thing I can think of that might have affected it is that I may have failed to close the GOP editor window prior to VOB step when I created the first half of my DVD.

Any suggestions? Reinstall the editor on my PC?

Tom

but why?

Not sure why you want to save those games, after all, the Yankees didn't even make it to the series... :)

Anyway, I have no idea. Its not my software... You might want to update to the latest however which can be downloaded from here:
