Every time I try to run the Instantcake for my Hughes HDVR2 the initial restore freaks out at 98.6%. I apologize for not being more specific, but basically once the restore hits that point the compression % starts jumping from one number to another so rapidly that you can no longer make out the numbers or wording. The CD eventually stops spinning, and it goes on like that indefinitely.

I have tried multiple hard drives, and have burned the same ISO image to different CDs - all with the same result. (I have only downloaded it once, and will try downloading the ISO image again - maybe there was some corruption - unlikely).

Any ideas? Up until that point, it seemed so easy!

Thanks!

Try another PC, if possible. A few folks here have reported seeing this problem (do you have an AMD or PII system?).

This is the only reply I have received regarding my issue. I understand that they can not offer full support, but I guarantee that this is a simple download issue!

I hope I did not flush my $20 down the drain.
