I want to add a second drive to my 1st caked drive a 250GB Maxtor. Was wondering if it was possible to cake a second drive and just add it without having to do anything to the main drive? My main drive is almost full with about 250 hours of programming on it. I have just purchased 2 more 250GB drives one for a backup of my main and the other as the add on drive. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are using InstantCake, you must build your drives at the same time; so in other words, you would need to connect both drives to your PC and use InstantCake, once again. It is possible to add a second drive to your already expanded "A" drive using "mfstools" an embedded utility on the disk, but this is beyond the scope of InstantCake and our support here -- you can check tivocommunity.com for Q&A on using MFStools to add a drive to an already expanded primary drive.
