I recently purchased instantcake. When it starts to bake it will come up with an error

/dev/hdc: read-only file system
restore failed: unable to open destination device for writing.

I am trying to find out what I need to do to fix this problem. This is a sony SAT-T60 TIVO

Okay I made sure everything was right, still getting the read-only file
The CD drive was on primary IDE slave and the TIVO drive on secondary IDE master. I changed thru all the pins on the hard drive still nothing. What can I try next

It can't be right if you are getting a read-only error...
