I need a virgin image for an HDVR2. I'm trying to understand whether or not the IC service can help me. Quick overview is, I have an HDVR2 that has been upgraded by Weakness with a 120GB B drive (2 drive tivo - still have my 40GB A drive). The A drive is bad (clicking). Bought a new 80GB Maxtor and have gone through the Hinsdale instructions. Bottom line is I get successful indications from mfsbackup, mfsrestore, mfsadd, and mfsinfo, yet my Tivo still won't boot - recycles between "powering up" and "almost there", with an occassional GSOD. I'm thinking my image, original 40GB A drive backed up only after the drive started clicking, may be bad. My new drives all check out OK with Maxtor Powermax. Do you provide a "virgin image" with your kit ($20) and if so do you think it could fix my problems? If so, I'll like to give it a shot.
Thank you,
Tim

Follow up questions ...
You have 2 software products that look like they may fit. The Universal Boot CD ($14.99) and the IC Series2 DTivo kit ($19.99). Could you differentiate between these? To be clear, I essentially have a tivo with 2 blank harddrives. I just need a boot CD with an image to restore.
Thanks

InstantCake will allow you to restore a clean image to the drives.

The Universal Boot CD is a utility CD that contains all the commonly used tools when following the Hinsdale guide.
