I used instant cake to make a drive for my sat-t60 with cache card. It then updated to the 'c' version of the software. Will the icing function put back the network functions, or is that still TBD?

Icing is not related to the network functions. Icing is actually installing some software that 'flashes' the firmware on the TiVo systemboard that allows certain hacks to be installed on the drive without them being overwritten. The "c" software does not reflash the firmware, so there is no reason to 'reice' when rebuilding with InstantCake; it won't make a difference, the firmware version is still at the same level as it was prior to the "c" upgrade.

If you need network functionality, you will need to reinstall the network drivers manually, or wait for an updated version of InstantCake which will be available in the coming weeks.
