You should make sure that your Linksys Wireless Bridge is configured for DHCP, and that it is powered on, and connected to your network and TiVo, prior to powering on the TiVo. There is nothing that has to be done to the TiVo, assuming you already the TiVo configured for DHCP by us.

One possibility - are you using WPA encryption on your wireless network? The Linksys Wireless Bridge from PTV Upgrade doesn't support WPA, so it probably wouldn't even see your network if you are using WPA encryption.

I'm not using encryption..it just turned out to be "the curse"..

I sent the tivo back for warranty repair and now it works like a charm. I previously believed that I did install the network correctly and configured the bridge properly and when the tivo came back it worked as I expected it to.
