Hmmmm.... We seem to have a few people having this problem. If the output in the telnet window says that TivoApp is passing the IP address of your PC on the command line to ShowList.tcl, then that indicates that perhaps the Tivo is unable to connect to the PC at the extraction port. By default, this is port 7100, but can be changed using the Extraction Port in the Options dialog. This may be because you have a router that is blocking access to the extraction port. ShowList.tcl also dumps the XML output to the console if it is run without command line parameters. This is more for diagnostic purposes, so that ShowList.tcl can be run without arguments and the output redirected to a file.
