Do you have the Tivoweb running on the normal port 80, or have you mapped it to another port? You say that it is running, so I assume that means you can run Internet Exploder or Nutscape and get pages off of it. Since TivoApp appears to be able to get the list of shows, which it does through telnet, then when you extract it is trying to get the HTML page for the show description from Tivoweb. You can uncheck the Extract HTML page, and that may work.

You can download ls from pvrhack.sonnik.com and ftp it to your tivo and then when you are in the directory where it is you can type ./ls
I'd suggest putting . and the directory where all your binaries are in your path. I think the syntax is: (will only work until reboot, modify path statement in your rc.sysinit to have a lasting effect)
export PATH=$PATH:.:/var/hack

Something strange is going on. I booted the system into the previous partition using:
"root=/dev/hda7 shondss=true handcraft=true runmyworld=false"
and managed to get access to the hda4 by mounting it and uting there the files I needed under the /var/hack directory

then
changed the path statement inthe rc.sysinit as follows:

# Set the path
PATH=/bin:/sbin:/tvbin:/devbin:/var/tivo-bin:/var/hack/tivoweb-tcl
export PATH

the booted the system back into root=/dev/hda4

again ls not working (I already had ls in the /var/tivo-bin directory)
but the strange thing is that I can cd into /var but not into /var/tivo-bin. I can also cd into /var/hack.

I don't know what's going on because I rebooted back into hda7 and check the hda4 and the /var/tivo-bin was there.

Any ideas?
