I was attempting to follow the cworley script via the serial port (see other post) and according to Eric, I screwed up my file "split".

I did this before receiving his reply.

Does anyone know what split does? (or did)

My TIVO appears to be working however I would like it to be correct.

I guess I have two choices here.

I can restore from my backup (don't want to if I dont have to)

Or Perhaps one of you nice TIVO hackers out there can please send me a copy of the /bin/split file. Posting it for download would be ideal.

My version TIVO is
1.3.0-04-037-000

Some of you may suggest I copy it from the other partition, but I have never received a version upgrade so the other partition does not exist.

Is there a way I can recover the single file from the MFSTools backup utility? (assuming the backup worked)
