Although I 100% agree with you on Bill and the new Queen's acting ability, I disagree with you in that the story line is faulted. True Blood is based on the Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlene Harris - in those novels Sookie and Bill travel to Dallas and the Maenad reeks havoc on the town of Bon Temps while they're away. Also in the novels, while in Dallas Godrick meets the sun. I stress that the story is based on the books and not a word for word description - but at the end of the day, after having read the novels and watched the show religiously, Alan Bell does an EXCELLENT job of representing the book while adding in his own variations. Jason, Sookie, Eric, Lafayette, and Tara are all incredible actors and true to the book. And Jessica and Hoyt are a wonderful new addition to the story, thanks to Alan Ball. Although I agree that Godrick was an amazing character and his time on the show ended too soon, Alan was being true to the book in this sense. However...I do agree with you on Bill's acting abilities...
