When we last left Sarah Connor and Co: The season ended off with a bang [literally!] as Cameron fell victim to an apparent car bomb.

This season: Picks up immediately thereafter, as Sarah, John and Derek deal with the fairly shocking aftermath of what just happened. Turns out, robots and car bombs don’t exactly mix and Summer Glau wasn’t kidding when she told the TV Addict in a recent interview that, “Cameron is more unpredictable then ever.”

In fact, it’s Cameron’s unpredictably that leads to one helluva surprising scene in the season premiere’s opening moments. Something that will both literally and figuratively divide the Conner clan forever. Which is unfortunate, because Sarah, John, Derek and Cameron are going to to worth together this season. Especailly when they come face-to-face with new series regulars Catherine Weaver [Shirley Manson] and the always menacing Cromartie [Garrett Dillahunt].
