Had to think a minute or two on that last suggestion. NO, I would not watch it. It would just be a ploy by CBS and they obviously do not care about their viewers and are out of my home forever. Alex O'Loughlin will find something better if Moonlight is not picked up by a smarter network and I am sure Jason Dohring can do the same - Sophia Myles too. They sure can do better than this kind of crap.
If The Showrunners of THE EX LIST Were Smart...

… They would do their absolute best to extend an olive branch to the eight million or so angry and bitter fans of the recently axed MOONLIGHT.
Take it from a TV Addict who knows. When EVERWOOD was unceremoniously cancelled to make way for the CW’s much-hyped and short-lived RUNAWAY, ask me how many episodes of it I watched. Not a single frakkin’ frame of footage! Seriously, that’s how bitter I was.
So rather than simply be remembered as the show that replaced MOONLIGHT, showrunner THE EX LIST showrunner Diane Ruggiero [who oddly enough knows a thing or two about fandom coming from the world of VERONICA MARS] might wish to consider taking a proactive approach when it comes to reaching out to grieving MOONLIGHT fans.
Which brings us to the free advice. With THE EX LIST revolving around Elizabeth Reaser [GREY’S ANATOMY] exploring her past relationships after a psychic tells her she’s already dated her future husband, why not make one or two of the potential love(s) of her life a familiar face. I hear Alex O’Loughin and Jason Dohring find themselves with a little free time on their hands. ![]()

No thankyou!
I'm pretty sure Moonlight fans won't be so easy to be win over.
Hopefully Alex and Jason have more dignity than to lower themselves to guest star in that show too.
I think somehow this was meant as a back-handed compliment. As a loyal Moonlight fan, I appreciate your acknowledgment of our situation...and that of the Ex-List as well. You may rest assured that Moonlight fans will be tuning into anything BUT the Ex-List, and I am offended by the remark that Alex O'Loughin or Jason Dohrig could play the love interest for the woman in this show. Even if they were to do such a thing, I would still not watch.
They could extend the whole olive tree and most Moonlight fans would not tune in. If they put Alex or Jason in as some token gesture....well I'm sorry that Jason and Alex had to go through that.....but I'm still not tuning in.
I am so offended by Nina Tassler's assertion that some woman running around looking through her endless little black for the "right" man to make her complete is that "women want to see on television" that I wouldn't tune into this show if you paid me.
The Ex-List will remain "the show that replaced Moonlight" - and nothing more in my book.
As a loyal Moonlight fan - the only "olive branch" that can bring me back to CBS is a Second Season of Moonlight - that INLUDES Trevor Munson, Ron Koslow, and Jill Blotevogel.
I am one of the many Moonlight fans and I'd rather see Alex anywhere than the ex-list. One he's an amazing actor who can find better work than being a boy toy for some woman whose biological clock is ticking.
Second what drew me to Moonlight was the sizzling chemistry between Mick and Beth. I doubt if the ex-list star is going to have that with Alex since its hard to build a relationship in an hour or two before your dumped for guy number 1,000,001.
The premise is insulting to women, a woman is so desperate to find a man she goes back and chases her ex-boyfriends around, being dumped, or redumping them? How is that suppose to be entertainment for women? If I want to watch a Desperate Housewive, I can watch the orginal, I don't need to watch the ex-list.
Also CBS has proven that no matter the quality of the entertainment or entertainer they will cancel a show. Why would I want to watch another show on a network that treats me with such contempt, saying they'd laugh when they received all our requests to save our show, dismissing us in the media.
There are plenty of avenues of entertainment open to me and my family, the Ex-List will not be one of them.
I still would not tune in, some one would post it on aol or youtube and I'd see them there. I will not give CBS the satisfaction or the show any ratings.
Heather aka Coraline wanna be (you know you love to hate her)
OMG! What women in her right mind would pass on a character played by Jason Dohring or Alex O'Loughlin the first time. Oh wait, it's a brain dead little girl who needs a second pass to figure out who Mr. Right is. No, No, No!
This Moonlight fan will not be watching anything on CBS. My television set has not been on since May 16 and I have no intention of turning it on again and falling in love with a show, only to have it ripped away from me and then being laughed at by a network executive because I am passionate about a show. I have no desire to watch a network that cancels a show and then laughs about it when asked about the fans. I have given up on network television. The ex-list sounds demeaning to women.
