Galleon, once one of the most popular Home Media Engines out there, was laid to rest in April of last year. Based on lack of HME support from TiVo, the decision to stop the project was met with disappointment from Linux lovers everywhere.

Now, according to someone on the Galleon board at SourceForge yesterday, development may soon resume and HD applications are on the list. Although the news is still unverified at this time, we'll be watching to see how this pans out.
