Wow, the forward looking minds at DirecTV have once again taken my breath away. Almost a year after TiVo made a similar announcement; so does that mean we might see something say, in late 2008? Don't hold your breath.
I wouldn't hold my breath for a DirecTV DVR hack, either.
I would by a TiVo DVR for DirecTV while they are still in circulation - and if you already have one, don't let it go!
