Steve, I have to agree with the fading HBO lineup. What ever happened to Curb Your Enthusiasm? Is that on your list of favorable shows? I have all the box sets but lost track of the show on the 'H.
Thanks
One ReplayTV away from having a full house!
It was announced today that this coming season, 3, will be the show's last season. They will do 2 2-hour movies instead of the fourth season. So, instead of 10 hours, we only get screwed out of 6 hours. I guess it's better than not having anything and David Milch gets to wrap up the show as he sees fit.
You're going to get my take on all things TV, whether you like it or not.
I watch more TV than anyone I know, some would say even a little too much (except for that reality crap). It's an obsession and a hobby for me. You'll be getting my opinions on shows I watch, shows I think you should be, or ones to avoid together.

Not certain what's up with that show. The last season was okay, but it seems they like taking the Sopranos-like breaks in between their very short seasons. To me, FX is fast becoming the new HBO, at least until they stop all their shows too. HBO used to have just their one big hit show run, and then another, until they had pretty much a show on all four seasons. FX seems to be going that route now too, but HBO better come up with some good, large audience gathering shows to keep the viewers.
You're not the first to suggest that FX is giving HBO a run for its money. I've made the comment before that I can really only name two networks by their shows. TiVo's Seasons Passes make everything else a blur.
Here's hoping FX carries the torch!

The Sopranos sure ended "safely" this season. Not a single person got whacked! I did, however, thoroughly enjoy the kicking of the head down the shaft.

agreed on "The Wire" and "Deadwood" - those were 2 of my favorite shows and I'm not sure they wouldn't bring them back
