Is FOX Overhyping GLEE?
The William S. Paley Television Festival Celebrates GLEE
Today’s Variety — which on principal we will not be linking to since they insist on hiding their content behind a very expensive pay-wall — reports that FOX is in talks with musical-licensing company Music Theater International with a goal of possibly launching a stage adaptation of the most buzzed-about FOX show since MARRIED, WITH CHILDREN.
This, of course, begs the question: Is GLEE on the brink of over-saturation? Our answer, which may surprise you, is after the jump.
Yes. Not that there’s anything wrong with that… and here’s why.
Let’s face it, if you’re reading this website, odds are fairly good that aside from being unusually attractive and extremely intelligent, you’re also somewhat addicted to television. So while you devour every morsel of GLEEformation that comes your way, follow the cast on twitter and can rattle off the number of days, hours, and minutes until the show’s April 13 return, you’re still hungry for more.

Get Ready for FRINGE: The Musical!

Just when you thought FRINGE couldn’t get any stranger, a funny thing happened on the way to the forum in a little underground Harvard Lab.
On our recent visit to the set of FRINGE, the cast — looking for something, heck, anything to share that didn’t involve spilling the beans on the super-secret two-part second season finale that is currently filming as we speak — let it slip that as part of Fox’s May Sweeps programming, which will have many of your favorite Fox shows tapping into their inner Gleek, the Fringe Division will be breaking out into song!
“This is a Sci-fi show and I kind of figured the roles would be set and that would be what you do,” teased Jasika Nicole (Astrid) who will perform a song from A Chorus Line as part of a story-line that involves Walter telling a bed time story to Olivia
An In Depth Look At... GENERAL HOSPITAL's Deadly Family Feud!
If there’s one thing the residents of Port Charles know, it’s that you don’t want to get on the bad side of Sonny Corinthos. (Think Tony Soprano… with killer dimples!) But this week on GENERAL HOSPITAL, the mobster’s longtime friend, Luke Spencer (yes, of Luke and Laura fame) finds himself in the awkward position of butting heads with Sonny over their respective children. It seems Luke’s son, Ethan, has been accused of beating the crap out of Sonny’s teenage daughter, Kristina. And while we know that Ethan’s innocent, Sonny doesn’t… and he wants Luke’s son dead!
“Kristina’s boyfriend, Kiefer, was the real culprit,” explains Soaps In Depth executive editor Richard M. Simms. “That kid is a piece of work, and this isn’t the first time he’s roughed Kristina up. But like a lot of abuse victims, she thinks he’s sorry, and she believes that he really loves her, so she’s protecting him.” In order to do that, she had to point the finger at someone… and Ethan was the unlucky bloke!

Today's TV Addict Top 5: Wildly Disturbing Quotes from THE BACHELOR creator/executive producer Mike Fleiss
If you think THE BACHELOR and it’s sister-show, THE BACHELORETTE, are feel-good shows full of love and romance, you must have missed this week’s 20/20 “expose” that went behind the scenes of the popular reality show. But during the course of the special, creator/executive producer Mike Fleiss exposed not only his own complete and total heartlessness, but the truth behind one of television’s most mysogonistic hours. Don’t take our word for it… here’s what he had to say.
“Let him blow both of the girls out of the water and I think that might be cool.”
That’s Fleiss’ take on the shocking moment in which season 11’s Brad Womack went into the finale knowing he was not going to choose either of the final two women. That’s right, ripping out the hearts of two women was “cool” to the show’s head honcho.
“We are very careful in our casting to develop characters that the audience is going to root for and root against.”

Today's TV Addict Top 5: Spoilers From the Set of V

Having worked on both THE SHIELD and CHUCK, newly-installed V executive producer Scott Rosenbaum knows a thing or two about mixing suspense and action. Which is why, when ABC’s re-imagination of the sci-fi classic returns this March 30th after far too long a hiatus, fans should expect the unexpected. But don’t take our word for it, here are five bombshell’s executive producer Steve Pearlman dropped during yesterday’s set visit in beautiful, albeit somewhat rainy Vancouver, British Columbia.
They’re Coming.
And by ‘they’ of course mean special guest stars! Hoping to inject some new energy and a very different dynamic into the show, UK actor Charles Mesure will be joining the cast as Kyle Hobbes, an unlikely ally of the resistance. “He’s recruited by Erica, Ryan and Jack because they realize that if they’re going to take on this war against the V’s, their ragtag group needs some muscle,
